General 2 — Camber Beach House

The Retreat.

This stylish coastal home just moments from Camber Sands Beach offers the perfect space for friends and family to relax together in comfort. Boasting direct beach access and stunning sunset views over the dunes. The property has been fully renovated to a very high standard both inside and out and includes outdoor covered kitchen and bar, outdoor stone bath and shower, panoramic sauna, all weather outdoor fabric garden furniture, garden room and Tempur mattresses throughout.

Inside.

The beautifully furnished accommodation is spacious and open-plan. The lounge area has a large comfy corner sofa, armchair, 65 inch Samsung Frame TV above an open bioethanol fire and an honesty cocktail bar. The contemporary kitchen area with large breakfast bar seating 5 includes all of the fittings and appliances you could wish for including an electric oven and induction hob, air fryer, dishwasher, larder fridge and freezer, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. The large solid oak dining table seats 10 and there is another dining nook seating 4 in the TV den area which also doubles as a games and card table. In the TV den you will find another Samsung Frame TV, PlayStation 5 with games, and a large sofa. There is a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer off the hallway.

Sleep.

Sleeping up to a maximum of 14 in 5 bedrooms plus mezzanine bed deck and 5 bathrooms (4 ensuite). Off the TV den you will find a ground floor double bunk bedroom. A mezzanine bed area is accessed via a ladder in the TV den and has a king-size bed. The ground floor also offers a super-king-size bedroom with 65 inch smart TV, patio doors into the garden and an en-suite walk-in shower room with WC. The ground floor also boasts a family bathroom with a walk-in shower, freestanding stone bath and a separate WC. Heading upstairs there are three super-king-size bedrooms all with smart TVs, two have an en-suite walk-in shower room with WC and one has an en-suite bathroom with freestanding stone bath, separate his and hers walk-in showers and WC. The beds have Tempur mattresses throughout, Egyptian cotton bedding and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. Please note the four super king suites have open plan bathrooms to the bedroom (no door between bedroom and ensuite bathroom).

Outside.

Heading outside from the living space, patio doors open on to an expansive deck and secluded garden with direct access to the beach. Boasting a custom built outdoor kitchen and bar with BBQ, sink, and undercounted fridges, a freestanding stone bath and outdoor shower, along with outdoor cedar panoramic barrel sauna. The outdoor furniture is made from the same fabric used on yachts so dries very quickly after a downpour. Offering ample seating the space is a dream for entertaining and enjoying time with friends and family. The space now features two aluminium pergolas with adjustable slats for shade on demand.

Chill.

A raised deck at the end of the garden provides the perfect spot to watch the sun setting over the dunes and here is the gate that leads directly to the beach. A separate garden room offers another living and chill out space to take in the dune and garden views and has a Sonos speaker, along with a selection of books and board games. Please note we no longer offer a hot tub.

Location.

Camber Beach House is blessed with direct access to Camber Sands beach, in East Sussex, UK, in the village of Camber, near Rye. It is the only sand dune system in East Sussex, and is east of the estuary of the River Rother at Rye Bay stretching 3 miles to just beyond the Kent border, where shingle and pebbles take over again. The dunes provides a valuable natural habitat to many animals and plants.. There is private parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles and free on street parking.

The finish of the house is incredible and every room is simply gorgeous. The main living area is fantastic for a big group of you to hang out, cook, eat, chill, all at once!

The location is fantastic for a beach getaway as you’re able to walk there within 30 seconds of leaving the back garden - what more could you want!
