The Retreat.
This stylish coastal home just moments from Camber Sands Beach offers the perfect space for friends and family to relax together in comfort. Boasting direct beach access and stunning sunset views over the dunes. The property has been fully renovated to a very high standard both inside and out and includes outdoor kitchen with BBQ and grill, outdoor bath and shower, all weather outdoor fabric garden furniture, deep sofas and Tempur mattresses throughout.
Inside.
The beautifully furnished accommodation is spacious and open-plan. The lounge area has a large comfy corner sofa, armchair, 65 inch Samsung Frame QLED TV above an open bioethanol fire and an honesty cocktail bar. The kitchen area is a wonderful space with large breakfast bar seating 5 and includes all of the contemporary fittings and appliances you could wish for including an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, larder fridge and freezer, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. The large solid oak dining table seats 10 and there is another dining nook seating 4 in the TV den area which also doubles as a games and card table. In the TV den you will find another Samsung QLED Frame TV and a large sofa. There is a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer
Sleep.
Sleeping up to a maximum of 12 adults (or up to 14 with children) in 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (4 ensuite). Off the TV den you will find a ground floor double bunk bedroom. A mezzanine bed area is accessed via a ladder in the TV den and has a king-size bed. The ground floor also offers a super-king-size bedroom with 65 inch smart TV, patio doors into the garden and an en-suite walk-in shower room with WC. The ground floor has a family bathroom with a walk-in shower, freestanding stone bath and a separate WC. Heading upstairs there are three super-king-size bedrooms all with smart TVs, two have an en-suite walk-in shower room with WC and one has an en-suite bathroom with freestanding stone bath, separate his and hers walk-in showers and WC. The beds have Tempur mattresses throughout. Please note the four super king suites have open plan bathrooms to the bedroom (no door between bedroom and ensuite bathroom).
Outside.
Heading outside from the living space, patio doors open on to an expansive deck and secluded garden with direct access to the beach. Boasting a custom built outdoor kitchen and bar with gas BBQ and grill, pizza oven, sink, and undercounted fridges, a freestanding stone bath and outdoor shower. The outdoor furniture is made from the same fabric used on yachts so dries very quickly after a downpour. Offering ample seating the space is a dream for entertaining and enjoying time with friends and family.
Chill.
A raised deck at the end of the garden provides the perfect spot to watch the sun setting over the dunes and here is the gate that leads directly to the beach. A separate garden room offers another living and chill out space to take in the dune and garden views and has a Sonos speaker, along with a selection of books and board games. A wood fired hot tub and outdoor cedar barrel sauna with panoramic window completes the outdoor space.
Location.
Camber Beach House is blessed with direct access to Camber Sands beach, in East Sussex, UK, in the village of Camber, near Rye. It is the only sand dune system in East Sussex, and is east of the estuary of the River Rother at Rye Bay stretching 3 miles to just beyond the Kent border, where shingle and pebbles take over again. The dunes provides a valuable natural habitat to many animals and plants. There is private parking on the driveway for 3 vehicles and free on street parking.

Firstly Maggie was a great host. The property is self check-in so even though we didn’t meet, Maggie was warm and always at the end of the phone for any questions!
Every detail has been thought out in this place, and it honestly feels more like a hotel with the amazing dressing gowns, slippers and products provided. The finish of the house is incredible and every room is simply gorgeous. The main living area is fantastic for a big group of you to hang out, cook, eat, chill, all at once!
The location is fantastic for a beach getaway as you’re able to walk there within 30 seconds of leaving the back garden - what more could you want!
